Iseki engines

I recently purchase my first tractor (GC1723EB) with the 3 cylinder Iseki engine. I did my research and I was pleased with the information on this engine. My brother, who owns a Massey Ferguson 50 and 1526 was also a wealth of information so, I went with the Iseki and so far so good.

Hey retired007 I have 2018 M-F 1526 & bought it new  ! I noticed You stated that You where looking at compacts & That seems to be Iseki main line tractors the list is quite long on who they have made engines for & all these brands are compacts tractors where Iseki made engines for or rebadge them thru a partnership AGCO,Bolens,Challenger,Iseki,& M-F & Massey-Ferguson just launched a new line of tractors 1800 series in a partnership with Iseki to build a full size compact & the M-F 1526 is considered a mid size compact now! So now you have 3 choices in compact tractors:cool:! & all have Iseki power plants! Just check out the history of Iseki & it goes all the way back to 1920 & they started off building implements ! Personally from all the research I did on Iseki I could not find any serious complaints or negative comments , Before my purchase & as a owner I can't complain after all it's a new tractor & if it holds up as good as my 1959 M-F 50 & I'm willing to bet it will. & just 1 other thing about the M-F 1526 the build quality was superb & paid cash for it without any reservations or regrets:love:It.View attachment 700109
Nice looking equipment you got there Brother. Thanks again for all the advise you gave me about M-F. It is a new tractor but I have no regrets.

Jacktinkers,Thanks guys , sounds like you have the same problem as mine, I’m trying to find a motor , or block, nothing in the salvage yards that I can find, As you can tell this is the first Foram I’ve ever joined, not really educated on how it works I’m trying to find that same motor E3CD Sure don’t seem like there’s many around,Been calling through salvage yards Virginia down that way can’t seem to find anything
do you know what other motor will bolt up ??? parts at the dealer is insane !! i could put rings and piston maybe bearing and gasket set in $ 2,00.00 for those parts . e3cd motor dealers should have better suport ; thank you jack

Hey jacktinkers ! Welcome to TBN, Have You checked Iseki tractor site here on TBN ? what year is your M-F 1635 ? You might be able to do a X reference with these other branded tractors that used Iseki engines AGCO , Bolens , Challenger , & Iseki there are other manufactures as well but they probably have engines that are not compatible as they predate yours  , Also check out ebay for parts or rebuild kits! The dealer will always be your last resort ! let me know some more info on your tractor & I'll try to help You out & will take some time & research on your behalf but these are other sources You can check into it's a start anyway(y).

I have a MF 1635 and the Iseki hasn't had any issues.
A side note, my generation tractor, 2012, has a high gpm hydraulic pump, this means I rarely have to raise the engine rpm's much at all above idle to get most things done, like loader work. The only time the engine hits high rpm is when I need to get proper speed to run the pto.
This helps prolong motor life. IMO
