Got one for Xmas my self. Due to this website. Darn thing is quite effective. Probably going to pony up for the welding attachment just cause I am goiing to kill the rubber clamps otherwise.

Its a stump (on youtube) . Not sure why he carved it into a block but the vise part is clever.

I wonder why they are "dumping" these Jawhorses? Didn't sell well? First at Lowes, then Amazon, and with FREE shipping on a 43lb tool !

I've wondered the same thing, they've been doing some discounted deals on most of their products on eBay as well with free shipping.

The all black model is Jawhorse V2.

IIRC they changed the locking mechanism from V1

I don't think they sell that well, they're a bit odd for the average woodworker.
