Hi, I have a jd 1050 4wd and a jd 75 loader I took off an old 850. Can anyone tell me what parts I need from the selective control valve to the levers and if there are any aftermarket parts that are compatible?
Your tractor may already be setup for a power beyond. I'll have to pull out my service manual if I get a chance and see where it is supposed to be and how to set it up.
The divider block should be directly behind the 3pt sector control if installed. It will be a little block with hydraulic lines and a small pressed metal lever on top if you have it. If you have power steering it is most likely plumbed from the diverter.
You need to buy a two spool loader valve like The one at Portable Generators, Pressure Washers, Power Tools, Welders | Northern Tool + Equipment # 34A126420 (item #2015) and you need the Power Beyond adapter (PM 660 280 001) and mount it on the loader. There are lots of others that will work, but this was what I used on my 1050. I have power steering-do you? I will have to go look,to see how I plumbed it,but I went by the service manual, and you should buy one too. Any valve you get should have pressure relief and power beyond.
If you want to go factory setup, there is a valve on Ebay (AM107083) and you can look up jdparts.deere.com and see how it all goes together, and they might still have the levers and rest of it.
Thanks for the advise... Just ordered shop manual! Mine does not have power steering however the jd 850 I took the loader off didn't either. As far as the power beyond adapter, what company did that part number come from? I didn't see it at John Deere or northern tool. Again thanks for the help!
When you get your service manual it will show you how to plumb it. There should be 2 plugs on the broad side of the divider that you would attach to. This would be a good time to setup some scv and/or power beyond on the rear of the tractor. Also if you ever think you may want a grapple or other hydraulic accessory on the leader a 3rd function would be cheaper to add now with a 3 spool valve.
For the PB adapter, for item #2015-look in the accessorys list,or the questions and answers below the valve picture-it's there somewhere. You have to get the right one for the valve. Whatever you get,be sure it has PB option, some do,some don't.They also have a cheaper, cross monoblock loader valve w/PB
