JD 850 Two-Stage Clutch Not Working

The two-stage clutch on my John Deere 850 recently stopped working right. Before, you could ease the PTO into gear and the two-stage worked fine (part-way in on the clutch to change gears, all the way down to disengage the PTO), but now it grinds the gears when engaging the PTO (can't ease it in) and the two-stage doesn't work (PTO doesn't disengage unless you put the clutch in and use the lever to disengage the PTO). I can't be exactly sure, but I think the problem started around the time we had work done on the brakes and some leaking seals fixed. Any suggestions on what might be wrong or how to fix it? Those clutches are adjustable. I had my Deere dealer adjust mine when it wasnt engaging properly. it was done while the front axle was being worked on. worked GREAT after they adjusted it. worked like it did when new.
