I just bought a B7500 with FEL and BH. I on the other hand decided to keep my JD325 to mow the lawn with. If I had tried to use the 7500 on my yard, it would have really tore it up because of the moisture. If I waited until it was dry enough to mow with the 7500, well I still wouldn't have cut my grass this year.

I think it all depends on your application. For me, I could never mow my lawn with the B7500. I have a JD LX277 that does a great job. The B7500 would make a mess out of my lawn with the R4's and moisture we have in the NW. I also have used the lawn tractor with a trailer as a "dump truck" when using my backhoe. It's nice to have both.

Thanks for the info everyone. I certainly have more food for thought.

At this rate, when I finally make my final decision on the tractor, I will be armed with total knowledge....., well, maybe not total knowledge, /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif, but certainly more knowledge than I had before.

Garick.

KEEP THE LAWN TRACTOR as long as it performs to your satisfaction. It will be kinder to wet turf than the B7500. My CFO does the lawn cutting and I do the rough stuff. Without that lawn tractor, I would have to maintain the lawn which would cut into my fun stuff. I hate cutting the lawn. Would rather play in the soil. Its a win-win situation /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Is the Kubota b7500 similar to a BX22 Kubota, I am shopping for a new tractor and haven't really nailed it down yet.I would like a backhoe and I would like a bigger tractor. Is the B7800 tractor a lot larger and harder to maneuver. I like the horsepower, the three point hitch lift. and the loader lift.

You came to the right place to find out all the little differences in tractors. You will get more response if you ask the question on a new thread. If you like Kubota it would be best started in that forum. I am new and learning so I will leave the opinions to the rest of the group. It is fun learning together.

David, the B7500 is a compact tractor as opposed to the BX-22 sub-compact class. The BX22 does have a backhoe however. You can get a backhoe for the B7500 if needed. The B7800 is in the largest class of compacts and will cost a bit more. In order to get the best advice from these very knowledgable folks, you need to tell us what you plan to do with a tractor /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Have you checked out the KIOTI LB1914 or the CK 20 yet?
I just ordered the LB1914. Should be here soon and I'm chewing at the bit to give it heck /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
13,200 = 54"loader w/tooth bar, 5' finish mower and 55" tiller.
