Cant beat Tommy's offer. He is a first class guy.
As for what I was saying was use your truck to jump start the tractor. But of instead of going battery to battery go from the trucks battery to the solenoid where the big battery red wire attaches and put the ground on the base of the starter where it bolts to the bell housing.
This way you will eliminate the tractors battery and wiring and tell you once and for all if the starter is good.
