I've followed your posts from the beginning and know you have been waiting for some time...

Did you decide to be a "tester" for Deere & Co. with your new earth mover...?

I had read one of Tags posts indicating JD asked if he would be interested in giving them feedback on the 110 as a new owner... I imagine to report any new undetected bugs as they arise...

I used the words "tester"... /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Then after all the testing was done and over with... John Deere was going to send him a check for $5000. for his troubles... /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif/w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

I was in the dealers neighborhood and decided to see about
my tractor. Salesman was out but the owner said it was in the frozen stage? He showed me a list with new equipmet arrivals with mine on it. It's in Augusta, Georgia where they are asembled. Backhoe, loader is from Iowa and tractor is from Georgia. He said it will be in next week. Well Tags since your closer to Georgia then I am, you will see yours first.
Please take a moment off that thing and lets us know!

Wow, John Miller really knows how to stir the pot!!!!Bushy,I had no choice in the matter about being a "tester"(See post "JD 110 EDPR team")they randomly pick people to report to the dealer who then reports to Deere,basically I'm a glorified guineepig,if I have a problem I tell the dealer and JD makes a correction in the production line so that every 110 isn't screwey,but the machine will be soooo good there won't be any problems /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif.Oh,and by the way the only John you'll be gettin' $5000 from,will be from the Miller kind,not the Deere kind,there is no money for an EDPR machine /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

You have no idea how ancy I feel waitin' for this machine,if I keep it up I think my wife is gonna kill me,I think she hopes it'll be here more than me so I shut up about the thing.Hopefully in another week we'll all be posting about how great a machine it is to run and how glad we were to wait for it!

Just heard from the dealer today about my 110. It won't be in this week like they said Friday. They supposedly have valve shortages at the plant. I guess they only order them one at a time? They cost money you know. Talk about 'Just in Time Delivery" Mabe it will be in next week, but then maybe not. I'm starting to wonder about this machine and J D. It doesn't look like they were well prepared to start the production line rolling.
I have to say I'm getting p----d off.

Forgot to mention this,when I spoke w/ the engineer he told me that it had caught them off gaurd the way people were ordering this machine,I guess all the brainiacs in their marketing dept didn't think people would be that interested in the diverter for the hydraulics,hence the wait for the valves.I told the guy that this machine isn't catering to the (I don't mean to offend anyone with this) "average" compact tractor guy and that they should have figured that just about everyone would want that option,I know this doesn't help you any but thought I'd pass it along,if ti makes you feel any better I haven't heard anything from my dealer yet this week,thus no 110 for me either..........................is it me or has time time completely stopped!!! /w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif
