The pillow block came from thebigbearingstore.com for less than $30. the cv joint is a reman out of a late 90's dodge colt $35 on fleabay. I did use the original drive shaft. cut the U joint off machined the cv joint and driveshaft yoke to slide into each other then welded it together..
The bearing fits perfectly over the driveshaft stub so no machining there. I made the mounting bracket and mounted it so it doesn't interfere with the mower deck so it doesn't need to be taken off in the summer.
If I did this attachment correctly it has the pics of my driveshaft.
