John Deere 2750 3pt won't lift

I bought a John Deere 2750 in the spring. The price was right and it was well taken care of. I knew that the 3pt lift had stopped working. The FEL works fine, the hyd fluid had just been changed w/ new filter. Tractor has a cab.

3 pt will not lift at all, what's the most likely culprit?

Does it have a flow control valve that affects the rate-of-drop that may influence 3 pt lift?

2750 has a rate of drop screw under the seat but it does no affect raising of 3 pt.

My guess is L/D mechanism is not adjusted correctly. Where is L/D lever under setting at Max or min? I'd suggest to set at "min". It's also possible pressure control valve down by hyd filter is blocking oil to 3 pt. Does tractor have rear breakaway couplers? If so get a 3000+ psi gauge & check stand-by pressure which should be 2250 psi.

What is the L/D mechanism? When you say break away couplers, do you mean hyd remotes, it has 2 sets, but I don't have a pressure gauge. Don't have an owner's manual for it yet, it's in the mail.

L/D stands for load/depth control AKA draft control. L/D lever is key 2 on an open station tractor. Rear breakaway coupler AKA wet lines AKA rear remotes. One can purchase a 5000# gauge for under $20

Manipulating the L/D lever and trying to raise the 3pt does nothing. Don't have a pressure gauge yet.

It's possible the pressure control valve close to hyd filter is stuck closed.

Is there another name for the pressure control valve, I'm not seeing that anywhere in my I&T manual.
