John Deere 2750 3pt won't lift

Off topic, but when I was jacking the cab up, I broke the differential lock shaft. Would it be safe to use the tractor until my replacement arrives, or will I damage something internally?

If referring to the rod connecting the pedal to the lever coming from the transmission case, you can run without a problem. There is an internal spring to keep the diff lock in disengaged position.

That's what I was referring to. Thanks.

Another question, that little spool valve that I pulled out of the rock shaft, I know it's not ideal, but could I leave that out to pull a spreader and a disker? Otherwise I have to disconnect the cab again to jack it up to put it back in.

I see no problem leaving it out temporarily That valve regulates the flow of oil in the three point. Since it is not working anyway, should not have any effect on other hydraulics, although I have never tried running without it.
