This cart was a big hit. The kids love being pulled around. No one has even demanded to ride on my lap, which was my hope.

No. But it sure scared me! The top bar is round and I wasn't lifting hood with any force. So no harm done. This is the problem with new stuff. This is a tool, but almost too pretty to use. That first scratch is going to kill me. Ha, ha.

I remember my last new riding mower. It was a Cub Cadet from Lowes. It actually had a drive shaft and Briggs Vanguard engine. It came with a metal cart or I had one from prior mower. I can't quite remember which. But one day soon after buying it I was driving it into the basement like an idiot. My boot got hung on the pedal somehow and I plowed right into the cart. Big ding that I had to beat out and repainted best I could. I said a few choice words when it happened but funny thing is, years later, I hardly even noticed. All that worry over a tool I simply gave away before looking at the John Deere. I'll try to take better care of this one.

That is a sharp looking tractor, you make a good choice there. She will last a really long time and as far as just giving away your older cub, that's admirable. Something I hope some day I will be able to do when I'm done with my stuff.
