I don't understand what you did to your tire, unless it was the 3pt arm rub. Also, what loader do you have on your 2520, Is it the 200x? I wonder if it can be converted to the cx. JC

I had replaced all of the cotter pins with the circle clips the last time the deck fell out. One of those clips has came out or the pin broke this time. Also on the deck quick pins is gone. It was the one with the spring and a U shaped pin.
I have the 200X loader. I was shown the larger loaders today, one version had 2" sq tube legs that were removeable, a larger tube was welded to the loader arms and the legs were pinned in. I think it would be very expensive to change everything over to the 200CX style. The new 3pt arm are over $300 each. If I get my tractor back I am going to try to make something up to support the arms. The pins on the rear support bracket will have to be addressed also.
47chevy said:I did get the new 3pt arms, the tractor was delivered about 1 hr ago. The lifting arm on the deck is still bent. It is on back order and it is hard to tell when it will be here. They installed new pins and keepers. Was told the lifting linkage was binding up and it did break the 3/8" pins. It has had all on the linkage realigned and when the new arm comes in they will come and pick it up and install it.
I pulled the pins on the loader and removed it. It is easy to do takes about 10 minutes. It is supported by the rear brackets and it is attached to the rafters in the garage. It makes a big difference on how it manuvers in the yard, lots better.
Time will tell if the deck will fall out again.

Well the deck came out again after about 2 hrs of mowing. This time the quick detach pin came out. The dealer pick it up on 8-26. The salesman and I talked about taking the mid mount lift completely apart and check everything. The last time it was there the mechanic did not do that, just replaced the pins
. They want me to trade it off, said they are going to "cut it to the bone" on the price. I am thinking about going with a zero turn mower or the X540.
What is on the other side of the pin. I thought my 62" deck on my 2210 had big springs holding them in. Are those missing? Maybe they should put a cotter pin on the other end to keep them in there.
What all do you do with the tractor?
Once you use a z track for mowing your yard - you will not want anything else.
I had a 2210 and ended up getting a 4720 tractor and a 757 z track. The ztrack is out of this world. Rugged, fast, etc.
Bagged 131 bags of grass off my yard this weekend with it. I never see going back to a lawn tractor to mow my yard.

Hi 47,
Sorry to hear your still having issues. I read your last post and had a thought.
If you decide to give up on the deck, instead of loosing a bunch of cash trading the tractor, loader and deck on either a zero turn or an X series, ask the dealer because your having nothing but issues with it, if he'll swap out the 62d mid and lift for credit towards a Frontier, woods or land pride rear finish mower.
I know it's not as easy mow around tight areas but they are built like tanks. They use the 3 point arms and have their own wheels so no more lift issues. The guy down the road has what looks to be a 20+yo Woods in back of his Ford 600. I think his kid mows rocks with it and it comes back for more every time.
As far as a zero turn, my BIL recommends either Scag, Walker or Wright, he owns a power equipment shop and those are the brands he sees least for big repairs.
Hope it helps,
Tom
