I'll check again for another line. But that little nylon connector that was somehow installed to connect the gas line from bulb to the gas line in the fuel tank is the only connection to the tank. I still have no idea how they would have gotten that little nylon connector pushed into the fuel tank hole.
Probably before they sealed the plastic halves together.

Yeah, Hemostats. Great for clamping off a spirting artery, stiches, etc, and roach clip ! LOL

Normally with poulan you have a .080 id .140 od line that connects between the fuel filter and the carb intake nipple. A 3/32 id 3/16 od line from the other carb nipple to the short nipple on the primer, and then the same size line from the long nipple on the primer back into the tank. the white nylon connected is inserted in the end of the line that goes to the primer and is pulled through the hole in the tank from the inside until the nylon fitting butts up against the inside of the tank and then is connected to the primer. that nylon connector just keeps the end of the return line from being pulled out of the tank, and can be left off is you choose.

I just mailed my wild thang to a guy in MI for some build thing. I hated that saw, but it always started so I couldn't throw it away. Maybe it kept my other saws in line just by being reliable. Some guy posted looking for some green and purple. I couldn't box it up fast enough. Hell, I even payed the shipping. Told him to pay it forward.

Thanks for the offer, but I just don't see myself coming to get yours. At the same time, I hate throwing something that works away. Fix it and donate it. Someone less fortunate than you could prolly use it. Or throw it away. Lol

Pic of what your working with. One line with plastic connector in tank is just a return line. On bottom right side most times.
Left side under carb with fuel filter is the fuel line to carb.

You messing with a NON strato or strato? Some routing are different.

If yours is a newer strato it could be different routing.

Check your routing to see if like this older 2150.

If I recall right the primer lines were all the same size. Only the line from tank with fuel filter on end to carb was smaller.

This was the fuel line routing on this poulan 2150. Marked them A B C and at both end areas to show routing.

He did a video of it stock already for us before digging in it. Chainsaw Repair group FB.

I was telling him he needs the better non strato one for a build. Hope he finds one of those too.

I just subscribed to his YouTube channel. I don't use Facebook, so won't see what goes on there. Good luck Joe!

well, I went out to day and worked on it again.
Got it to run somewhat.... Somewhat meaning as long as I pump fuel bulb, it will run.
I pump the bulb, it starts running. then it quits.

I don't believe the carb is pulling gas from the bulb to keep it running.
Bad carb ?? IDK.

The ser # is 06058D301873-1
family: 6pwes0424ck
40cc 18'' wild thing

How would I know if it's a strato (what ever that is) mod. ?
