Wow! Is that some sort of a liner inside that yellow tube?
Yep, to try and make last longer against ethanol users. They come rated good for 20% etc etc etc. But IMHO the epa lines are a fail.

I like using OEM echo lines when I can.

I even use it in place of oem molded lines. Saves time and money for owners if that dont mind the switching.

Most stuff is plastic
Then your looking at the cheaper saws. Most Pro grade saws have mag metal crankcases.

Compare showing crankcases. Plastic 290 311. Mag crankcase like a 400 and 036-360.

Older local showed up with a unopened Farmertec box yesterday. I had him order it from a trusted dealer I deal with in MT.

So I sold him a bar and got paid labor rate to finish putting together and start and check over and tune.

Well worth the 364 shipped for the G372xp pro ones that come with meteor topends cylinder piston and walbro carb etc.

Fired right up. Easy money.
;)

It sounds like a nice machine as you mention and the engine at 5hp is a nice number. But the reviews on Amazon for low quality are pretty harsh on the saw. Just items that can be a pia like loose screws, broken oilers and small items.

Most owners have no clue how to set up a saw. Most amazon sells I would bet 99% true.

Let alone should own one and use one and give it maintenance. JMO

I owned a few of those and the pro version of 372 is the way to go in 372's

OEM OE 372, G372xp pro and G444 440

Just ordered a G372XP, will go through it once it gets here. I've had good luck with parts for Husky from Farmertec. If it works it will worth a bit of effort. My saws now are all 15+ years old and it's time to try something bigger.

Which one 372? The regular ones have a cheaper p+c and sometimes carbs that wont hold a tune. So GL.

Ones I tried on the regular had big squish and lower psi from get go. I didnt have any carb issues myself. But I know how to troubleshoot and tune.

But a local guy said the newer ones in regular been better.
