My engine guy claims the same. Only ethanol free gas in everything. Fortunly our local BP station as a specific non ethanol pump.
They are easy. Just take pics while learning of the order of things. I didnt get that luxury of phone cameras on the fly.I know its just like any thing else, if you do it enough you get good at it, but I am always impressed with people that are good at carb work. I am a pretty handy guy. I can wrench on many things and learned as a farm kid where dad and grandpa were cheap and didn't believe in paying someone to do something they could figure out. But the fine art of carburetors I just haven't picked up yet. I have a guy that fixes atvs for me and he's amazing at it. Can take any small engine and just make it run like new.

Even the 500i when you have a repair site is like a 50/50 gamble of getting a good one. Then everyone who owns huskys can complain like the stihl guys.
I haven’t had any problems (yet).
Run nothing but race fuel, Stihl fuel or non-ethanol. Worth every penny, IMO.
Saws run perfect, but all are 2022 or 2023 saws.

Some get one dont have problems. Some get them and they burn up in a month of use.
I'm going to set back and watch as guys that are running these 564 are already showing them to us there.
Husky has their problems too even on past saws. Why you think they are up to MKII and MKIII on some.![]()
For some reason when they act up they go into a lean condition.Fuel related?
Mine is like a great white shark. It just gnaws through wood. I love it.
It’s like a treat to run….I’m actually serious…
Ever have a saw that’s not necessarily the biggest/baddest, but it just suits you perfectly?
