Could anyone make out the brand name of the new chains he put on both?

Least they were the same on both.

Like to see them again with C83 and pushing hard like he was.

It it just me? I wasnt impressed running a stock 500i either. Liked the 462 better.
This showing him pushing tells me there isnt much torque there 500i. But I dont test cut like that I let chain work.

This is the same saw from 2023 I remember now called HOG at KY Expo .
I was like ya right 28" bar and pull it. But seeing that video with 24" pulling buried made me a believer.

I ain’t givin mine back.

The electric saw is impressive but having a battery the size of a car battery in a chain saw is about as clunky and clumsy as it gets out in the woods.

Like the guy said, cuts faster, but 22lbs is heavy and then there’s the endurance problem, especially when out in the woods.

If they make a vehicle charger for it, you’d have to run your trucks engine to not kill your own truck battery while charging it.

No doubt electric saws are the future though. In 5 years, they’ll be the mainstream saw. I bet backpacks with batteries will be an answer to endurance.

Not impressed with Stihl’s lackluster progress on electric saws. They need to get their act together faster.

As used pretty dang close and 500i the lightest 80cc out there. The rest would weigh the same as that battery saw. ;)

Call me impressed big time.

I was looking and in 2023 it stated was only suppose to be compared to a 70cc.

I would like to know how many cut 1 batt would do too.

The reviews on all greenworks battery products are pretty good. From wha the local battery shop told me, greenworks makes good batteries and they can be repaired. The same manufacturing they use for batteries is the same echo uses. One of the reasons I went with echo.
