It could stand a new set of shoes but all it does is rake hay anyway and run the bat wing shredder so tires are in the future. Besides 4 new shoes in radial R1's will set me back about 6 grand in Titans. Loader was included in the price and it's an SSQA loader with 2 buckets. Runs like a top, starts fine (new Interstate group 31, 1100 CCA battery) and does what it's supposed to do and it's the very rare model with the factory model down exhaust, which I like actually. Came with the optional cast centers too.

I WOULD NEVER BUY ANY TACTOR SIGHT UNSEEN, EVER. I don't trust people to be up front, especially any dealer.

I see the Op has not replied. I wonder if his correspondence with the seller wasn't good????

The OP was going to want a substantial credit like 10k or a complete refund including a $2200 shipping charge. The dealer might be a stand up guy but I doubt he takes either one of those options.

Why in God's name would you buy a tractor from that far away? Jesus, Mary and Joseph, buy from people you trust! People's stupidity never ceases to amaze me.
Thanks for calling me stupid, stupid?

I don't have anyone I know like that in the area. But again, that doesn't negate anything I've said prior.

As I explained earlier, it's not even remotely close to "exactly the same". Mileage on a car is a decent indication of how much wear and tear that car has received. Hours on a tractor is not. It's something to consider, but it's very far from the best indicator.
100,000 miles on a commuter car in Arizona v 100,000 miles as an Uber in NYC. Your argument is invalid.

Says who? Though I wouldn't say no to $10k.

I actually did buy a truck sight unseen from out of state once but I’d be more hesitant to do the same for a piece of equipment. I definitely wouldn’t have the same mindset the op has that since it’s from a dealer it must be good. I only bought the out of state truck because it was the height of Covid shortage and I was wanting a rare truck and there weren’t better options available. I’ve bought several pieces of used equipment from my local dealer. I’ve also bought some on marketplace. Maybe the dealer isn’t the best value I could find but not driving hundreds or possibly thousands of miles looking at equipment and the fact he lets me haul it home for a demo is worth something.
Justified when you do it, but not others because your circumstances were MORE extenuating?

All of us have done things we wish we didn't do. In fact, almost everything most of us know came from doing it wrong the first time. Or two times in my case. I'm pretty savvy now only because I wasn't savvy in the olden days. Some I got out of and some I didn't but it all evened out.

A better way of being helpful is to think back when we were in those shoes and try to offer info that we wished we would have received. Then we can better learn from their experience. I still ask a lot of technical questions because I want to learn from others who have learned how to or--or how not to-- do something. That's info that's helpful to me.

All of that is true, but all things being equal, hours matter… especially when you are using them to support the value you are attaching to it.
I have a hard time believing most of you would buy a 15 year old tractor with unknown hours, over one with accurate hours and service records. I mean, cmon man.
Most of us here are applying a bias to the topic. They want fair and right vs legal obligation. It’s not really a matter of would I buy, the problem is I did buy now what can I get back?
Did the dealer make a mistake, yes. Did the buyer make a mistake, yes.
