I am referring to the STL Cardinals. The team who has gone to 4 consecutive NL Championships. The team that has been in 2 of the last 4 World Series. The team who has won more World Series than only the Yankees. The team with the BFIB. The team just voted as having the best uniforms in MLB all-time.

Is there even baseball in Kansas? We certainly know there is no college football in Kansas.

I'm sure some others will chime in but I always put brutal as when Mr. Celsius's system matches Mr. Farenheit's. But I've only experienced that in Alaska and Vermont.

me and a friend took today off and was going to drive south of Indiana in search of heat for the weekend, but when we looked at the weather maps last night we saw there is no such thing as heat down there close enough for a weekend road trip

Springfield, (30 miles from me )set a record for the date of -5F. a couple of days ago.. I am not sure what branson got to.. We are usually 1 or 2 degrees warmer. It is in the 20's today... Warming uP:thumbsup:

3F this morning. Yesterday it made it to 28F. Things are starting to warm up for us. No more 5-15 below at night it looks! You midwest folks are welcome to the Canadian arctic air if it passes us by!
The snowfalls are less and been heading out to sea. We have over two feet on the ground. Been getting 3-4" at a time the last two storms, instead of a foot at a time. Here is a pic of our two guys! View attachment 413114

Was minus 36 degrees Farenheit up here (near Sault Michigan and Canada Border) this morning.
The GMC truck and the Hyundai car both started without being plugged in. ............but it feels like your driving on square wheels until the tires warm up and forget about the seat warmers , they don't work until battery gets up to charge a few miles down the road. On bright side traffic was light with all the others that could not get their cars started.

I just cannot imagine it... when the temps drop to the mid 50's people are complaining of the winter chill here in the Bay Area...

Guess it's a matter of prospective...

I spent a winter working in Europe and it did get really cold... about mid January there was a heat wave... blue sky, sun and zero wind... people were out in shorts soaking up the sun and saying what a marvelous day it was all the while I was thinking my friends in California would say it's too cold to go outside.

It's been unseasonably warm recently... close to 80... anyone see the ATT Pebble Beach?
