That looks just like the unit I have; mine was built by a schoolteacher in Southern Maine.

)</font> Mine has a PTO pump; it works great with my L275 Kubota running just above idle. I wouldn't want it any smaller though... I've ripped the center pin out twice.

Wish I'd read about the tiedowns 3 years ago; I learned the hard way, but luckily no harm done.

Great site here, wish I'd also discovered it 4 years ago, when I was tractor shopping.

Poo, I used one 20 yrs ago on a 8N that didn't have a loader, but it worked good. The entertainment came when you try driving at any speed.

Do they offer a frame kit for their backhoes, or are you going to design and make one yourself? Great job!

I thought I would design it myself, just taking more time than I thought to get to it. Just had wrist surgury and there is a 8 week recoup period. Desided to make it a winter project. Wanted to get the steel now before prices go up, but dont know if that will happen! Just moved to another state and with all the STUFF i had, we filled up 2 30x50 pole barns and no where to park the cars inside. Even had to park the tractor outside, whick is killing me, but no matter how hard I try, short of cutting a hole in the outside wall of the house, cant get the tractor out from the weather.
Will keep you posted on progress of the subframe.
