Have it narrowed down to a Kioti DK 4210sehb, Massey 1742, and LS XR4145H, LS may be cost prohibitive.

if you dont have deep mud no need for AG, with 4wd it will be more than good for loader work in gravel/dry dirt, it will be easier on yard if you do any landscaping and turning in pasture, unless you have tons of snow i wouldnt think it would make much difference unless DEEP mud under snow no frozen ground, if things get hard frozen might have to use chains anyway so wont matter which tire you have, i have been very happy with my SCUT and CUT with R4 tires

oh fun the massey is in play woot woot next to draw straws lol are you looking at cabbed tractors, i dont knwo those model numbers that well

I purchased my Massey from Maibach Tractor in Creston, Ohio. It was a 75 mile ride for me but worth it. I got my Massey for a better price than I was quoted by a closer dealer. I also got the better model for less, too. It pays to visit multiple dealers in different counties.

I am not tax exempt. It definitely pays to choose the county you buy your tractor in. Haggle and find lowest sales tax if you can.

i have heard nice things about the massey on here

on notables i would extend are from the guys here i have heard the pedals that suspend on the massy are tall for a foot to push resting on the floor pan so your wife might not like that having to hang her leg in the air to push pedals vs the floor pan pedals on the kioti, i have heard the guys say they like the extendable 3 point arms like the massey has didnt see that on the kioti, so go through and check the boxes and see what best suits you and your wife

Thank you for the information on the tires and pedals. My wife is reading these post with me. At this point I do not believe that I can go wrong with either tractor (Massey or Kioti). I am going to call the dealer that Nacademous recommended in the morning.

Tier 4 is here to stay, get used to it or Tier 5, Tier 6 etc...........kind of like all the 6.0 ford whiners, the only thing i have put in my 6.0 that i havent had to put on any other diesel that i have owned is an egr valve, egr cooler. EVERY diesel i have owned at some point or another needed an injector, head gasket, fuel pump, blah blah blah...........

you fix a 6.0 right and it will last you for longer than the body will last. Does it need more injectors than some yea maybe but do you take care of it like you should? Did a 282 IH eat head gaskets ? Did a 263 burn valves? you can pick anything apart if you want. Did a detroit leak oil ?

I will keep my tier 4 and my older NON tier 4 and be happy with all - i have bought new/old over the years for various reasons, were not here to question ones motives or reasons for buying/choosing what they want just to support what we can and share in those experiences, we control NO ONE - just be happy for all and enjoy it all

tier 4,5 etc may be here to stay, but until they can get it right. I ain't buying. There are many almost new Kubota M5 tractors near me with very low hours already for sale.

Yes, you can fix a ford 60 to last. For enough money
No way to fix these screwed up DEF, DPF tractors

strange dealers in other areas of the country act like they don't care if they make a sale,or not.

Called local dealer today needing a 3pt lift part. she said, I don't have one in stock but I'll see if any Kubota dealer in the area has one. She looked and said not one close and she could order me one. Gave me the price.
I said is that the best you can do. She said well, I'll sell it to you for xxx which was a lower price

you'll probably be much happier if you purchase a good low hr used non emissions tractor.
Emission issues is the reason I bought a 2013 low hour MX5100 4wd tractor
