K3b engine

I have a bolens g174 (tx1500 or 1510)

Was slowly losing power over the last few years but tractor ran good for the most part... started missing a little but at 2000 rpm and above.. checked compression and discovered it to be very low... 205-225 on all 3 cylinders...

Just tore it down to check things out and see what I will need for a rebuild, in see there are lots out there and I'm getting confused...

I see there are lots with sleeves, however i dont think the k3b has sleeves from the factory. Can anyone tell me if there are actually sleeves in it? I can feel no ridge on top or bottom, has a very nice tapered edge so seems like all engine block to me.

They are not sleeved. The Chinese kits have sleeve. It makes me question the quality of the kits. I have a good used KE75 enginefor sale tha would probably be competitive with rebuilding if yours requires machining.

That's what I kinda figured out... I'm not going with a cheap Chinese kit...

I have a buddy that is the parts manager at a large forklift supplier and can order me parts for the k3b directly from mitsubishi. So I'm going to go that route at .010mm over bore... my cylinders arnt terrible just a good scratch in the rear cylinder ( #3 ?)...
