Keeping character, or restoring a pond

One of our big problems was the original wall tapered up opposite of the spillway. I wanted to bring that wall down to the new floor level of the remodeled pond.

That involved rebar.

And then there was some forms for the concrete.....

Then concrete.....

This was the end of a very long day.

This is what it looked like this morning after we'd pulled the forms.

Then it was forming up the next section.

The idea is to get a good concrete beam under the wall between the haunches and piers.

Then it was moving over to laying out and pouring the beam for the block wall that will be behind the rock one.
