People, please. It is a matter of scale. I have a 1/4" Impact Driver, a 1/2" Drill/Driver, a 1/2" Hammer Drill, and a SDS Rotary Hammer. Each has it's place, all except for the last can pretty much do what the others can but obviously not as well. A Crescent wrench is no replacement for the right sized box end or ratchet. It is a matter of selecting the right tool for the job. I had a loader on my MF1250 for 27 years and never had anything break. If something was too big I got someone to bring a bigger loader.

So now that we have beat the front loader to death, can we move to the bacK of the tractor?
Seems there is lots of abuse there too, as well as appropriate tools for the job!

According to you my Case 580CK is poorly designed and should not have the factory loader on it.

What’s your definition of a good design? A 580 case or any other full size backhoe isn’t a good design. They’re designed durable and don’t break frequently. They have that going for them. They’re fairly affordable for homeowners to own and they’re strong. They also have that going for them. But as far as being a good digger or a good loader they’re not.

Example: Branson. I'd rather have a grapple on a 35hp 20-series than on a 35hp-10 series. IMO this was a case of too big an attachment on too small a tractor's frame size. Loose bolts on a sub-frame won't do us any favors. Do we always check them, too?

The modern CUT is metaphorically the Swiss Army Knife of large home/small farm power equipment. Like a SAK it's designed to do a lot of different tasks. It is not the best tool in the world for a lot of those tasks, but it can accomplish them easier and faster than doing them with man strength and awkwardness. A FEL on a tractor is like the corkscrew on a SAK, you can use the corkscrew to open the occasional bottle, but it wouldn't be your go to tool for the job if you had a double lever corkscrew. Yet, no one can say that the Swiss Army Knife isn't designed with the ability to open a wine bottle.
Most of us can't afford an excavator, wheel loader, road grader and a scraper so we buy a compact tractor and use the FEL when we need one, add a backhoe or buy a box blade if we need one, or any number of other attachments we might want or need. They are just different blades for our metaphorical Swiss Army Knife

IF true, why did the john deere loader I saw at a farm show, say made in china on it?? AND their farm tractor loader mfg'ing moved from Canada to Mexico some years ago...

IDK about farm tractors. The CUT loaders were manufactured in US, but maybe that has changed?

John Deere has been manufacturing in China for many years.
I have a CX-15 with Chinese gearboxes. But then again so are all the other brands.
Was looking at a newer 120HP farm tractor and the front axle said “made in China“ on it. Wheels and wheel weights made in C, too.
