I RECENTLY BOUGHT A 2011-- DS4110 KIOTI--THE OPERATORS MANUAL I PRETTY CLEAR., I HAD NO PROBLEM WITH IT. THIS IS THE FIRST MODERN TRACTOR I'VE OWNED. I AM HAVING TROUBLE FINDING A SERVICE MANUAL FOR IT.

JDAOWNER,

You might want to start a new thread instead of using one that is 15 plus years old... The service manual is normally a dealer item, or maybe e-bay.

A 16 year old thread! Modern day archaeology is strange. JDAOWNER, I think you may find starting a new thread would better serve you. Have a peak around the forum and you'll find how to do that.

But while your here, an owners manual and workshop manual are really the two available. On rare occasion you can find the digital formats about the internet, but it gets a bit sketchy. The tried and true method is straight from a dealer or ebay. Workshop manual is about $125 through Michigan Iron Equipment, comes in a real nice binder with partitions. Owners manual should come free with the tractor, but if its not, its on ebay for about $30.

WELCOME TO THE FORUM!!

Anyone try these ebay DVD manuals and compare them to dealers?
Thanks

I have an Ebay DVD manual and the one I received is exactly the same as my paper service manual (don't recall the seller of the DVD)

I'VE NEVER WORKED WITH A DVD MANUAL, BUT I THINK I WOULD PREFER A BOOK. THE ONLY ONE I FOUND ( I DIDN/T LOOK TOO HARD) WAS PRETTY PRICEY.

I have been looking at buying one of the big 3 tractors in the 30 to 35 HP range but, the prices on the Kioti line are very attractive. I am wondering how they compare aside from the lack of available HST, which is a factor. Closest dealer is going to be at least 2-3 hours away.

I am also looking for the best values in attachments - rugged but, reasonably priced. I will want to get FEL, box blade, tiller, post hole digger, and wood chipper.

Thanks
I had a Kubota B series, in 3 years I never had an issue, loved that 26HP workhorse, traded it in on a Kioti New Model DK4210SE Cab for almost what I paid for it as well. That being said I originally bought a CK4010 and had some items I didn't like, one was it had a clutch for to use for the PTO and starting, no big deal but it was hard to use, 30 seconds usually to change from Neutral to H,M,L range, - didn't like the fussy-ness of it also didn't think it was well sync'd with the PTO lever (same problem, too hard to engage the PTO lever) Big problem was the 3 point hitch, when I raised it it bounced and almost threw me off the seat (well it bounced the entire tractor lol). I asked the service Manager about it and he said - "Can't help you it's a cheap valve Kioti uses", all the CK models bounce when raising, lowering is ok don't know if that's true or not - So I took it back to the dealer.
They sold me the Brand new model DK4210SE Cab which was beautiful - for a while, I've had numerous problems with it, the backhoe rocked so bad I had to get the dealer to weld the nuts and bolt together on the sub frame, (that was their idea) also the subframe is too small so the seat hits the rear cab window and tears off the weatherstripping, no fix for that one except to move the seat so far ahead it's like a child seat now, but problem solved. When I bought it I noticed Antifreeze leaking from the top read speaker, they found a hose clamp loose, dealer fixed it but the cab smelled bad until I cleaned it. I've had constant fogging issues since this, 5 trips to the dealer but they couldn't stop the fogging, so I went to Kioti USA, they eventually told me to put a sock full of Kitty Litter above the roof of the cab to catch the moisture! I changed the air filters on my nickel after a few months and the problem went away (I think there was antifreeze from the leak in the old ones. But the shake and bounce in the 3 point hitch that shook the CK model is in this one as well (same as the CK4010). I have a backhoe so I had the tractor quite a while before putting an implement on it. But I'm told (by another dealer) Kioti is aware and they went to Kioti (Korea) with the bounce problem and the Koreans don't think it's a problem, so I'm stuck with a $50,000 (CDN) tractor that I hate to use the 3 point hitch. Another dealer told me to call Kioti and lodge a formal complaint as they have no fix and get no support from Kioti USA on these 3 point issues. Before I bought a Kioti (DK45's and above have better quality valves) I'd get them to put a smaller implement on it like a rear blade and check out the 3 point hitch when you raise it. I've had other items but they aren't worth mentioning on their own. But if I had it to do over again... I run back to Kubota - now price of the Kioti was about $5000 cheaper then the comperable Kubota, but as I found out you get what you pay for. Hope this helps, I'd love to hear from CK or DK (42,47,55,6010) users model 2017 and up to hear if they have the same issue with the 3 point hitch.

All I can say is I have a 2001 DK 35.
Not real familiar with the newer model DK's.
My range selector and 3 point always works smooth and easy. PTO is simply flipping a switch on the dash.
I've owned this tractor 18 years, been very good. Never been back to a dealer.
