I have a strange problem with my Kioti. It is a 2003 model with 2600 hours. When starting, regardless of outside temperature, the engine will barely start. It takes a lot of cranking whether I use the glow plugs or not. When it finally starts, it will miss every so often and smokes black. The only way I can keep it running is by cycling the loader valve to keep the pressure off of the hydraulic pump. Once it has run for a few minutes it is better but still smokes under the slightest load. I checked the turbo and it appears to spin freely when I flip the impeller with my finger. The engine is not running when I try this.
