Kioti filter cross reference number list (all models)

I could never really understand why anyone would spend $20,000 plus dollars one a piece of equipment and make them selves crazy trying to fine a alternate filter for their piece of equipment. I know some Kioti filters are on the high side but why kill yourself to save a few dollars. For example a JD filter for my 355R is almost 20 dollars and B/S filter is 14,00 dollars and a puralator filter is 5.99 at auto zone. I have a CK30HST and really never had a problem with filters. I keep 4 oil filters 4 fuel filters on hand and have changed both hydraulic and transmission filters at least three times keeping up with the Kioti specs. Use a good oil Rotella for example change in the spring with Rotella 15W30 and I use a Rotella 5W30 synthetic in the fall for winter starting. It might be overkill but I don't want to buy another tractor. I ALSO HAVE A 19518n and a 1955 ACWD and use Rotella in all of them and every piece of equipment I have. I am not suggesting that I am correct but it works for me. Good luck all.

When you're looking at over $100 for a filter one tends to pucker more. WIX and Donaldson, which are the more likely aftermarket filter manufacturers that we'd be looking at (Kioti's air filters are Donaldson- look right there on the canister). A few bucks is one thing, but a $60 difference is another (which is the case with hydraulic filters, not engine oil filters). And when you have a lot of equipment it really starts to add up.

Having a cross referenced filter for me is a great piece of mind. I no longer have to rely on just a dealership to get filters quickly. Redundancy is a good thing. Plus, a wix filter is far from risking your expensive equipment. It's getting good quality without the corporate mystery markup. But also, many folks have to pinch $$ wherever possible. Sure a filter alone may not save much buying a cross reference, but add all the small things like this up wherever possible and it becomes considerable $$. Small farming only yields a profit if you can be very thrifty everywhere possible. In many fields, buying a Wix, or Donaldson to save $60 on one filter is a no brainier.

Is this list compatible with a 2016 DK4510? Needing to change my oil and was wondering.

I don't believe so. The DKse tractors are the predacessor to the NX. Not related as much to the newer DK10 series as the name might imply

BF5587 Screw-on Fuel Filter. There is a note saying not to use the water sensor in it.

Be careful using a fuel filter without a place for the water sensor.
Tractor models with a water sensor monitor this sensor and shut the unit down to an idle if it detects too much moisture.
The reason is that if any moisture reaches the common rail injector pump, the pump is typically ruined.

2017 Kioti CK2510(H) Engine Oil Filter

I just used a WIX 51381 filter (That would make it a NAPA 1381) and it worked fine. Same/similar outside dimensions, correct spin-on threads, and the seal diameter measures the same as the original Kioti factory filter.

I will edit and add Fuel, Air, Hydraulic and HST as they are changed and verified.

SkunkWerX, do you know if the cut-off pressure on the WIX is the same as the stock/factory one?

I struggled mapping a third party oil filter for my old generator. Didn't want to shell out big $$ for something with "Cummins" on it, when it's a Kubota engine! The WIX I got for it had a different cut-off pressure. I gambling a bit, but I don't run the generator much. To be honest, I'm not real sure exactly how the cut-off pressure would come in to play in a real life scenario.

To be honest, I'm not real sure exactly how the cut-off pressure would come in to play in a real life scenario.

I ran WIX and Pure One engine oil filters on my Kubota BX for almost 2,000 hours, with no issues.

The cut off pressure range was right in there.... maybe off by 1 psi at one end or the other. I really had good specs on the WIX end of things and considering how sketchy the Kioti information can be, I didn't really stress over it too much. I can see where a generator might potentially be a different animal, but I think you will be fine. I think the worst case scenario on any good quality oil filter is that it goes into bypass? Still flowing, doesn't blow off, engine is still lubing, just not filtering any more. The bypass is just a rubber valve, so i think that's why the manufacturers give us a range, because it probably varies a little between each of their filters.

Side Note: I have read about Kioti owners having smoke on start up. I was getting a little bit of smoke on the factory oil and filter. It is still warm weather, but I started hitting the warming element before cranking, and that took most of the start-up smoke away. New tractor, I figure the piston rings and valves are still seating and the smoke wasn't excessive so I just watched it. NOW, after doing the oil change, no smoke, at all, on start up! Also, it barely cranks on start up, just hit the key and it pretty much fires on the first revolution. I have less of that gravelly diesel sound and less engine vibration at idle. Anyone getting close to the 50 hours, don't hesitate, get that factory engine oil out of there, use a premium grade 15w40 diesel engine oil and hopefully you will see the results I just experienced.
It made a difference.
