You may already have done this before canceling the Kioti OEM 3rd function order, and I don't know how your dealer priced it, but have you gotten quotes on the installed price of an aftermarket kit? For example, the W.R. Long is great (I have it on each of my Kiotis), but the installed price, even as part of a negotiated new-tractor purchase, is usually at least $1,000, and as much as $1,200. With a negotiated new tractor purchase, reports are that the installed price of the new Kioti 3rd function runs around $800 to $850. A buddy recently paid $800 with his new DK5310SE cab. Just something to check into if it's not too late to resuscitate your order. May be worth waiting a bit longer.

I had the dealer refund my money for the 3rd function and a second rear remote, but he is not cancelling his order from Kioti he said.( I had my dealer add the 3rd function and 2nd rear remote to the original selling price of the unit almost 3 months ago. Had him refund both, as Kioti had been unable to deliver either one, or provide any estimate when they might possibly ship.) I told him I'd still be interested in the Kioti 3rd function if he ever had one show up, but I've already been waiting 2.5 months on it.(Long before their "cyber attack" occurred.) Not willing to wait another 6 months to see if Kioti gets around to supplying any of accessories they've advertised to us new customers. Several projects waiting on the grapple that will likely have to be pushed back to spring due to warranty work on the machine and parts delays/unavailability. Had planned to have these projects completed before winter, as my Kioti is open station, I had not planned on much cold weather work. Contacted MIE last Saturday morning, and ordered a Kioti 2nd rear remote, and one of MIE's 3rd function kits to try. Should be here this week. At least I'll have a functional grapple and box blade after I get it all put on. (I have a new Gannon 80" 4x4 HSD box blade with the hydraulic scarifiers, and my 3 point top link is hydraulic, so I really need two rear remotes to use the box blade effectively.) I can limp by switching the one set of remotes between the scarifier cylinder and the top link, but its a pain.

I don't understand this, there must be some issue with your dealer. I ordered an NX5010C, added 2 rear remotes and the 3rd function kit. This was just before and during the computer hack. Everything showed up within 2 weeks, installed and delivered.

I am not saying that the hack did not cause delays, but ordered 3 months before the hack and not here yet! :confused2:

Called MIE last Saturday. They don't stock the Kioti 3rd function kits, they supply their own. I ordered one of theirs, and the 2nd rear remote I had been waiting on also. They had the remotes in stock too. They are definitely a very valuable resource for Kioti owners! Thanks Murphy!

My go to place for the last 10 years parts,service & sales.Great folks..

Still waiting for my parts. Kioti did their job, but the parts guy who called back twice (first to tell me that he had ordered the part, and again two weeks later to explain that the parts had arrived at the dealership) then failed mail the parts out after assuring me that he would do so immediately. I called five days later wondering where my parts were and found out the parts guy was looking at them on his desk. Sigh. #onethingtodo

Kioti should strongly consider blind drop-shipping directly to their customers wherein a dealer orders the parts and the parts directly ship from the warehouse to the customer. Blind drop shipping would increase uptime and make customers happier. I know this firsthand as I frequently did blind drop shipping to my customers back in the 90s.

Kioti has drop shipped parts direct from Wendell NC to customers for years. As of two years ago when I moved from NY the drop ship fee was $15 per order above the actual shipping charge. I averaged a handful of drop ships per months to distant customers.

Few if any manufacturers (including shortline manufacturers and aftermarket parts wholesalers like SMA and A&I) do not offer drop shipping.

You have a dealer problem, not a Kioti problem.

Our experience with KIOTI Tractor is a bunch of hard working folks that try very hard to get things right. It's easy to pass the blame off to the manufacturer.... or whoever else happens to be in the line of fire at the time.... but usually there is more to a story than you find in a thread.

MichiganIron, RickB didn't assign blame to the OEM, he assigned blame to a problem at the dealer.

Extending the drop-shipping diuscussion I believe there is a problem on the part of Kioti with dealer parts guy education if my dealer is uncomfortable fulfilling orders with blind drop ships and Kioti's flat-rate charge of $15.00 to do a drop-ship above and beyond regular shipping charges. Really, if handling fees need to be a profit center because somebody had to print a different shipping label, one wonders how those same people can print different shipping labels for all of their dealers?
