Kioti Parts Delays

Perrypower, perhaps you could answer this perhaps you cannot. If you cannot, that is perfectly fine.

Is that generally 'any' part within a week? Been waiting a couple weeks for my dealer to get my second rear remote in for 3ish weeks now. They were going to install it prior to delivering my NX 5010 HST, but due to the hack we agreed to deliver with the single rear remote and they would just install it after the second remote came in.

I've inquired a couple times as to when they would expect it to come in, and just been given the 'should come in sometime soon' response. I don't particularly NEED it installed right now, but it's just one of those things where I would rather have it done so it's its all finished up.

In your case, you are waiting on a wholegoods accessory (2nd remote kit). This entails a different ordering process than normal parts. Its possible that if your dealer placed the wholegoods order during the outage that the order was lost. He may have to place a new order or follow up with his Sales Rep.

That is very interesting to hear. Maybe there is no real problem on getting parts or your dealer got it somewhere else. Can you ask him?

My dealer replied that the third rear remote came from North Carolina. I remember that it was FedEx'ed and there was a delay of two days more than he expected.

Weekly stock orders may be about 4 weeks out, but if you place a regular ground order, we have been getting them within a week. (They currently have a 2-3 day backlog of daily orders that keeps getting better.) Also, if you place a Rush order, it does ship out the same day. So Kioti is most definitely up and running again (and have been for the last 3 weeks). It's just taking a lot of time to get out from under the huge backlog of orders they had over the outage.

The transmission in my NX5510HST failed for any forward movement back in September with 26 hours on it. Kioti dealer said they had some bad HST servos make it out to the consumers recently. Kioti told my dealer they would send me a whole new transmission instead of just fixing the servo. I liked that idea for sure. The transmission just came in yesterday, and they'll be delivering it back to me Monday I'm told. Hopefully things are starting to flow a little better for Kioti now. My dealer also ordered a 3rd function and 2nd rear remote back 2-1/2 months ago when I bought the tractor. As of yesterday, his supplier still didn't have them, or any idea of when they might ship. I placed a call to MIE this morning myself, and they had them in stock. Ordered them to put on myself. On the phone for 9 minutes to get them both paid for and headed my way. I can recommend MIE to anyone looking for parts. Excellent service!

I have searched, and not found any official press release issued by Kioti regarding their parts system computer hack. Has anyone seen an official press release?

There have been many ransomware hacks recently, where upon gaining access to a computer system, such system is fully encrypted and the owner must pay a ransom to recieve the encryption code. Even system backups can be encrypted. Therefore, system recovery can be lengthy (measured in weeks) and ultimately the hack is embarrassing to the company. Nice to hear that Kioti is nearly back to working order.

I finally got my tractor back on Friday. 4 weeks and 2 days after I brought it to them. All it got was new front axel seals on one side as a warranty repair.

I asked if they would truck it the 12 miles back to me, and they said they would for $100-$125. I found a truck and trailer to borrow.

I知 in Canada and it took 4 weeks for a front ring and pinion. When I picked up the axle today they mentioned that the whole kioti system has been hacked and apologized for the delay. Not a great first experience with this brand.

I lost the forward HST servo at 26 hours. Tractor was down 4 weeks, just got delivered today. Told my dealer to cancel my order for a Kioti 3rd function kit I ordered back on 8-15-19 when I bought the machine. His supplier still can't even give an estimate on when they might ship. Going to do aftermarket I guess; I've had a EA Wicked 60" Root Rake Grapple setting on its shipping skid in the shop for the last month that I can't use. Any dealers on here with the Kioti 3rd function kit setting on the shelf, feel free to contact me........
