Kioti vs LS

Hello All

I'm new to this site but have already learned a ton. I'm looking at tractor for my 250 acres in the Adirondacks. I have various logging roads, food plots and maple syrup business.

I've narrowed down to Kioti DK 40SE HST and comparable LS R4041 HST. looking at both of them new. Both are in price range I can afford and each seems to be tailored to a new owner/operator.

Thoughts?

I am a Kioti owner, but I haven't heard anything bad about the LS.. I suppose it boils down to the dealer you like the best, and color you like the best... orange or blue?

This has been done before, not too long ago. Welcome to TBN and hopefully the pack. The DK has a FEL that boasts 2700 lbs of liftoff. Don't know if LS is in the same Ballpark.

Check out your dealers is most important.

They are both good machines at reasonable prices. :thumbsup: :thumbsup: I would sit on each one and the one that fits the best (most comfortable for you) is the one to get. Be sure to get all the rear remotes that you can. (2 with Kioti and 3 with LS) You will need them or more on that property of yours.

Good advice so far, I agree, the dealer is your connection to the brand.

I'd do a side to side comparrison of features, options, etc. and price point per each local dealer.
And because Bobcat dropped tractors made by Daedong, I have some concern about whether LS will carry Daedong, and for how long, whereas Kioti is and has been Daedong's primary source of tractors in the US.

LS does not produce Kioti or anything from Daedong.

I think it's the other way around. I believe that some of the LS models are to be made by Daedong.
