I put a bore scope down in the bell housing. It looked like the input shaft seal to me

Rep got ahold of the dealer today. Dealer told them the tractor had only been there for 2weeks and that it was on the board to go in this week.. i said thats funny i just spoke with the girl who runs the counter on friday, she said there so backed up that they dont know when they can get it in. Then i provided pictures with dates that show the day i took it in, and that it had indeed been there a month.. i cant stand liers
Something a bit hinky going on at that dealership. Agree, lying ain't the way to go.

Dang shame too. LS had some nice tractors. Concentrating most on marketing for sales and not customer service.

The customer for an OEM is primarily the dealership. If there's a problem with customer service, it's the dealer.

This is why so much advice to people looking to buy their first tractor is about the dealer.

It's not really about big or small dealers either. You'll find good and bad with both.

If your gonna be a dealer, you need the corporate support as well as investing in skilled technicians.

They go hand in hand. And yes, lying is no way to run a buisiness.

Skilled techs are hard to come by. Especially for a small mom and pop operation.

The tech is gonna go where the money and benefits are.

I think that's why I've seen the local Branson dealer fail.

And I wouldn't think of buying a TYM locally after seeing a lawn and garden shop start to branch out and offer TYM tractos.

It makes me wonder if they will be able to handle any warranty repairs, or if they invested in any training for their existing techs.

I dealt with that a lot during covid.

I'm still waiting on a back ordered wiring harness. Units been down going on 3 months now.

During covid, I was having to come up with "Will work" solutions for starters and alternators.

I had to get creative 6 months ago for a Turbo, and turbo actuator for a couple 300hp Deere engines in the shop.

I had both ordered for a couple months on back order and deere couldn't tell me when they were gonna ship.

I ended up having to have one of my candadian locations purchase it, and then ship it too me. They located it with one of their deere vendors up there.

I work for a global company with the purchasing power behind it, and have issues getting what I need.

I can just imagine the struggles that a mom and pop shop just getting into the buisiness goes through.

They claim the tractor got into the shop on friday. Hopfully this week i will find some thing out. I have a gut feeling the hst pump is on back order and they wont have a time frame. But we will see

Talked to dealer yesturday. They claim they cant find the hst leak, even though i showed them when i dropped it off. So i sent them pictures of it and where it is. The oil pan leak they are "investigting" not much to investigate. Its leaking on the back side of the oil pan near the rear main. Maybe i should suggest they use dye if they are that incompetent
