So im 2 for 2 on korea tractors being lemons. Tym first and had issues right at 9hr, wanted a bigger tractor and the tym put a bad taste in my mouth. So i went with ls the second time around, this one made it 49hr before going back to the dealer. The ls will have to be split and i expect for it to be gone 3 months at the least as it needs a new hst pump. I could keep it, but im the type of person that when a piece of equipment or vehicle fails that bad or needs that much work. I would never trust it and would continue to have resentment over it. So that being said i will most likly sell when i get it back and buy new. I really like how the korean tractors get you more for the money, and they really do out pace kubota john deere and massey in the loader department. But im really getting tired of messing with them due to subpar quality. Do i try for lucky #3 and get a kioti to replace the ls , or do i buy a used kubota or massey and live with the weaker loaders and deal with the crappy loader joy stick location?

Maybe 3rd time will be a charm…

All companies have some problem vehicles. How the dealer and company respond would be the deciding factors for me. If they fix existing and provide loaner while yours is in the shop vs we might get it fixed some time. 3 months seems a tad long and bigger question is why did HST go bad?

Front axel was assembled wrong on my Branson. First replacement axel was dropped while unloading from truck and casting broke. Second replacement axel has been on tractor 900 hrs and counting. Took about 8 days to get repaired and was offered loaner tractor while was in the shop.

Like someone else said how the dealer handles the repair and if they were willing to provide me a loaner tractor then I would see how the tractor did after the repair and go from there, you may never have another problem with it, but if it nickeled and dimed me after the repair I would trade it in on another brand, I have an 18 year old Farmtrac that was made in South Korea by LS and it has never been back to the shop for anything, so they do make some reliable tractors every now and then.

Have you looked at a Massey 1835m? You should test drive one. More ergonomic than the 1825e and a lot better loader.

Maybe the OP would be better served by not focusing so much on loader lift.

Loaders are mechanically simple, which is why all the various tractor brands have about the same loader performance in use.

There is a difference in small loader dimensions - like the pressure that the system operates. That is not a tractor feature, it is controlled by the relief valve setting. How to adjust it is in your manual.

There is often larger difference in how the advertising/sales department of each brand decides to measure their loader performance. That has been going on for as long as there have been tractors with loaders. You can read about it in threads going back for decades. Basically there is no standard way to compare compact and utility loaders.

And I wouldn't be surprised if there was also a difference between brands as to how much instability they are willing to accept as the load is lifted - and how they calculate that as well.

But forcusing too much on the loader is a side issue when buying a tractor.. They may not be exactly the same, but are very similar in use.
Other things are more important.

Hope you find what you are looking for.

9 hours and 49 hours, there is a lot more to the story than what you are alluding to I'd say.
Nope, at 9 hours the tach on the tym started going wacky and reading all over the place. At around 30hr the fuel tank split. The stops for the bucket on the loader frame were welded about 3/16" off from each other. So when you would dump the bucket the whole loader frame would twist. Coolant over flow tank split. Then on the ls at about the 35hr mark i noticed the oil pan was leaking, then at about the 45 hr mark the hst pump started leaking. I dont abuse them, use them for my food plots and bush hogging. Hell the tym still had the **** on the tires when i got rid of it
