Also, Craigslist. You can search up to a 250 miles radius from your zip code.
Use a search device, such as CraigLook. I like this tool.

One I like less, but it does look further out, infinitely, is Search Torrent.

That's too bad. I know you are disappointed.

That said, if you have $10K+, there are an awful lot of good, almost like new tractors out there. The economy being what it is. Patient searching is difficult, but it pays dividends. You'll find it. Oh, and don't be surprised if your friend gets back to you after trying to sell his for a few weeks. My guess is that you'll likely hear from him again.

You nailed it BP. I spoke with him at church sunday and he said that he might could take less and told me to make him an offer. We finally settled on $11,250 for the tractor, rotary mower, box blade, 3 pt. draw bar, and it also has quick connects on the pto arms. I still think this is a pretty good deal and I can't wait to pick it up this weekend. I will post some pics for you guys.
