Kubota B3200 adding remotes and 3rd function

Your backhoe is not fed before the loader. It's after.

If you look at the pics you posted...what is labeled as the loader PB, where that tube goes back to the tractor is feeding the 3ph.

The backhoe loop interrupts this. So loader PB now feeds backhoe....and when you loop them back, the backhoe return feeds the 3ph.

Using a remote for the 3rd function is fine. So you only need to install the ONE valve with 3 spools.

NOT counting the 6 work ports, you need THREE hoses to this new valve. And you have two already

The PB hose coming off the loader needs to go to the inlet or P port of the new valve. The new valve needs a PB cartridge. The hose that goes there is the backhoe return. You need to add a third from the tank port of the new valve and teed into a tank port or line somewhere

Easiest way to run the backhoe now is to put ag couplers on the backhoe hoses and run them off one of the new remotes. A detent on one of the new remotes would be helpful, but a mechanical way of holding the lever is fine. Just be sure you are feeding the backhoe correctly and not backwards

Thanks for the photo. I was thinking of doing something similar with the Summit Hydraulics electric valve kit. I’m thinking of installing their 3 spool valve, and using two of the spools for the rear remote top and tilt, and use the third spool for my 3rd function, by running a pair of hoses up to the loader. Their electric spool valve kits are designed to be connected to a power beyond port, which I already have, and aren’t used when the backhoe is removed.
Sounds like you've got it all figured out. I did similar on a l3200 where i used a 3 spool valve and used one for the 3rd function and the other 2 for the rear remotes. Both the b2920 and l3200 worked without issue, so i doubt you'll run in to problems as long as youve got all the fittings sorted out. good luck!

LD1: Thank you very much, that was helpful. I think I have a clear understanding of the lines now. I just have to identify the Tank Return line to tee in the tank return on the new valve. When I looked through the install manual for the Summit Hydraulics EVK2-3 valve it only shows 2 connections, the pressure inlet and the tank/return. See page 5 of the manual attachment. I’ll ask Summit if they have a dedicated tank return. As for for connecting the Summit valve to my power beyond, I was just going to connect it to the existing AG connectors on pb that the backhoe uses, and just unplug the Summit rear remotes when I have to install the backhoe. I do like your idea of adding an extra remote to connect the backhoe to. Thanks again for your help.

I would just simply feed the new valve with the hose that feeds your backhoe. Then use the power beyond from the new valve to feed the backhoe or complete the loop for when the backhoe is off. Then you tee the tank line as stated.

This way there is no need for an extra spool or having to tie the spool open to use the backhoe.
