fellows,
i just posted on another site, that i'm burnt out on complaining about my jerky 50 series tranny. i will let others who are still as p.o.ed as i was sound the call to prospective 50 series buyers.
i traded in to my local dealer, making the best deal i could. i beliieve in kubota, just monumentally disappointed in my bx1850, solely on the tranny, and so far thrilled with the smoother more powerful bx2360 that i moved up into.
my dealer sold my unit to one of his employees, and said to me that he didn't make any money on my trade (to the employee) . . . while, i'm standing there - you made money on me twice, and you'll continue to make more money, unless you get really stupid . . . yikes. i'm now mute and moot on the 50 series tranny. i vow never to post another word on it.
there are some very good people on this websight and many other pretenders, that offer up uninformed opinions because they can. many of us have had as many tractors as cars or any other important thing in their life.
the op, out of his frustration made his ill advised posting. the recognized problem has always been the d*mn 50series tranny and not the ability of the driver. i left gear trannies for the comfort of a hydro. while my dealer worked hard for me, he was the first one to say- no fix exists / per kubota.
so i traded up, it cost me more . . shame on kubota . . . it's what they wanted all along. for me to go away, or dig into strained bx pockets to trade up.
good luck to all those who will now sound the call . . . i vow now not to revisted my kubota 50 series headache! i will not post again on it. as a retailman of 25 plus years, i'm ok with kubota losing a very good and strong silent salesman. im thrilled with the bx2360, but why should i tell a soul after my odyssey?
regards, shrekbelly
