I believe the blade hydraulics are dealer-installed items when you order the B2672 QA plow blade for the BX2380.

Not sure I understood your question: I don't think Kubota offers or supports the old QA system and blade for the BX 80 series
at all. When I had my old BX2360 with QA, the blade I bought came with the hydraulics already installed.

Robert you can get it manual or hydraulic, so guessing additional. Ive read on some wanting to upgrade on hydraulic angle. Found mine used on craigslist, looked for 2 years, it hydraulic angle. My blade is the Bx2763A, already had the quick hitch.

Thanks. I think it's a discrepancy in build and price. I you select hydraulic angle, it makes you pick the FEL-mounted blade. What's interesting is the manual FEL blade is $1,625, while the HD QA blade is $1,298. I guess the SSQA on the FEL blade is worth the $327 more?

I would love to find a bx 2763A for my tractor. They are hard to find. I am like you guys use the snow blower only when I get that two foot snow fall in WV. What people want for used one I could buy an new one.

You guys with the front QA and blade... does the blade come with the hydraulic angle, or is this additional? Build and price won't add hydraulic angling except to the FEL mounted blade. I'm interested in angling for the front HD blade that used the frame-mounted QA for the BX 80 series.

The QA assembly was sold separately and used with broom, blower and two different blades. The QA has a hydraulic cylinder that lifts.

The orange 60" dozer blade has a second cylinder that moves it left and right. The black lighter duty blade is manual only, but a lot of folks, including me, modded it with the second cylinder for pivoting left and right. Both blades have replaceable edges, so essentially? They're life time pieces. Helps explain the re-sale values as well.

The prices on all their pieces and parts is outrageous, so it's a good thing they're useful. Used prices hold very near the top as no one wants to give them away in re-sale as they are rare, highly sought after and they are not cheap to buy new, plus tax. Shrug.

These pieces were/are largely built by a Canadian firm and other than the color and mounting brackets? Identical from green, to orange, to black, etc. My Kubota would largely be a rolling engine and slow go-cart without these attachments. Snow was #1 on my reasons for getting the tractor in the first place. So, yes, they're expensive, but I cannot tell you how useful both the 60" and the 54" blades have been. No way I'd have done without them over the past decade.

Thanks BP. I'm aware of the QA, but should have been more clear. I just wanted to know if the 60" blade comes with the angling cylinder. The build and price is not clear, and the FEL blade, the same blade, only comes manual... standard. Guess they figure the QA frame blade needs the lift/down cylinder, and there are an extra set of lines for right and left, while the FEL blade requires a third function. What's baffling is the cost for the QA blade is not more expensive than the manual FEL blade.

Can't help you on the blades for the FEL. I've had zero experience with those.

All my experience is with the subframe type blades and I've had both.

Well I finally found a bx 2763a blade new. Total cost of the blade was $1700 with the Kubota insurance 0% 24 months. I got my last parts today to convert the hydro over today. I hope I will be able to post some pics or video in the next few days. Thank you guys for all the advice. If anyone wants a parts list let me know.

TROPS, do you use a snowblower with this set-up? Do you know what driveshaft (from mid PTO to Hitch PTO) you are using? I am looking at a 2750D for my BX2380, other than changing the hyd fittings I think it will work. I just need to verify the shaft length. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Guys. Before I traded the 2370 I had it at the dealer for some service work as well as getting them to appraise it for the trade. While there we took the blade and quick hitch off my 2370 and mounted it right on to a new 2380 that was in stock. Everything lines right up we didn't need to do anything to make it work, no drilling at all. As I stated before the only issue you run into with this setup on the 2380 is that you can't fully open the hood with the hitch on. You can get it open enough to check oil and clean rad screen. One other thing that came up was the hydraulic fittings are different so they changes the hose ends from the old hitch and blade angle hoses. When I picked up the tractor they had the mower on and the blade mounted, so you can have them both on at the same time. I have the blade off right now as I don't it on right now. I can put back on quickly take a pic if you need.
