I had same question, here are a few pics of BX 2380 I took yesterday from my dealer. Looks like the bottom of front frame is the same, even has the "hook" for the BX60 mid mower front bar. It does look like the front frame may stick out about 1/2 inch more (I don;t have my BX 60 to check)? If so, would just need to have hole redrilled.

Hi Guys. Before I traded the 2370 I had it at the dealer for some service work as well as getting them to appraise it for the trade. While there we took the blade and quick hitch off my 2370 and mounted it right on to a new 2380 that was in stock. Everything lines right up we didn't need to do anything to make it work, no drilling at all. As I stated before the only issue you run into with this setup on the 2380 is that you can't fully open the hood with the hitch on. You can get it open enough to check oil and clean rad screen. One other thing that came up was the hydraulic fittings are different so they changes the hose ends from the old hitch and blade angle hoses. When I picked up the tractor they had the mower on and the blade mounted, so you can have them both on at the same time. I have the blade off right now as I don't it on right now. I can put back on quickly take a pic if you need.

After starting this thread and getting the answer I was hoping for, I ended up trading my BX2360 with the front hitch, snowblower, and blade for a new BX2380 with QA front blade. My dealer gave me a very nice trade in for everything, along with a nice discount from MSRP on the new set-up. My reason for going with the new BX2380 was the drive-over mower, easier removal and install of the loader, and QA attach front end...ease of implement removal and install is increasingly important since I'm not getting any younger!

I realized I only used the snowblower maybe 4-5 times in the past 7 years (when the snow was over 8-10 inches and nowhere to push it) so really didn't use or need one. I liked the more compact front blade mount on the BX2360, but think that having the new blade mount on the QA loader arms will let me mound the snow higher as it gets deeper later in the season. Thanks again to all who helped with my decision!

Hi I am new this site but been coming here a few years for good information about tractor. I recently traded my kubota bx2350 in on a new model kubota bx23s. I was following this tread because I still have BX2751 quick hitch for the BX2750 snow blower. I was told that it will still fit new tractor when I bought the tractor. I was informed today that it would not fit the hydro. If anyone knows if bx2751 hitch fits bx80 and what are the part number for the hydro connectors?

As Trops said in Post #12, despite what Kubota indicates, he actually tested and found out that the 2751 hitch will in fact mount on the front of the BX2380 without any major modifications, other than impacting the hood fully raising. You would just need the dealer to change out the hydraulic hose coupling on the hitch (which controls the raise/lower function) to match the new quick-detach fitting used on the BX80 series. Your dealer's parts department should have the parts diagram for the BX fittings, and should be able to change the fitting fairly easily and inexpensively. Let us know if you make the change, and post a picture!

Well took me few months to get everything in from kubota for the bx 2751 quick hitch conversion. It does fit on the new bx 23s. I did take some picture to verify it.

Glad it worked out for you! While I bought a new quick connect B2672 plow for my BX2380, its is not as nearly easy to use as the old plow that used the quick hitch. It's a lot of weight on the end of the loader arms that causes bouncing even with a lot of back counterweight, and it is trickier to set the plow blade at a consistent angle and curl when working with the 3 function value. I'm sorry I traded in the old plow and quick hitch, and may consider locating a new BX2371 and converting back to the old system.

Kenny, give it some time. I posted a while back on the problems I've had with the FEL mounted blade. Now, I can whip around with the blade clearing my drive and almost dropping the blade to the perfect level each time. Before, I put the blade in float and would lose all steering because of the weight. I was considering a new 80-series with the QA front blade because of it, but think I'm fine now. If I do keep my BX2670, I'll add a third function and hydraulics for angling the FEL blade. On my fourth year without EVER using the 50" rear blower, I'm selling it and getting a rear blade to compliment the front blade.

Thanks, I'm not doing anything this year, and I'll see how well I get used to the blade operation. I finished installing the 3rd function valve last week to add the hydraulics for the blade angling...was about a 5 hour job. It's trickier when you have the 3rd function, as it is very easy to apply a bit of side pressure to the stick when moving the blade if you don't keep your thumb on the 3rd function button...moves too fast in one too many directions! I'm still learning how to fine tune using the joystick positioned on the side of the BX2380...I knew the feel and touch on the front-mounted joystick of my old 2360.

And PM me if you're selling your rear blower. I had the front mounted one as well but traded it in when I got the 2380, like you I hadn't used it in a couple of years (but was nice to have it as a back up for the 15 inch snow we would get every 3-4 years).

You guys with the front QA and blade... does the blade come with the hydraulic angle, or is this additional? Build and price won't add hydraulic angling except to the FEL mounted blade. I'm interested in angling for the front HD blade that used the frame-mounted QA for the BX 80 series.
