Price Check Kubota L3301

   / Kubota L3301 #22
To update my original post and in case anyone is interested, I was able to eventually land on $22k for the L3301HST, FEL, RCR1860 and a BB1260. Not terrible. For reference, I'm located in eastern VA.

Congrats now it's time to put that thing to work and put a few scratches on that new paint!

I am willing to bet though if you lined 100 people up that you would have that the vast majority would prefer the side x side pedal on there Deere vs the toe down and heel down pedal of the Kubota.

Whenever this comes up I sort of laugh at the idea of having a preference for one brand's treadle/pedal arrangement. I have to use both Deere and Kubota machines, not to mention other equipment that has even more variations. I find that once I am in the zone I don't even think about the treadle/pedal arrangement and my leg/foot is just repeating a job/task.

The only time I have heard legitimate reasons why one arrangement is better than another is when a person has some sort of injury or disability.

I think the L3301 replaced the L3400 that I have, so why do does tractor companies do does that, maybe to boast sales,,,sorry that dont work on me, another reason to add to the cost,,, if nothing else it adds more number confusion to the mix and or to order parts, the number list on tractors are mind numbing, staggering and redunkulous.

yes I agree. I wish these tractor manufacturers would just stick to the same letter/number designation. it makes it very confusing when trying to compare.

yeah you could but why would you want too for the same money? Most people would forget. What would happen if you were cutting down a hill or up a hill? That logic would only work on level ground. Both tractors are good don't get me wrong. Also a Kubota doesn't have a priority valve in the steering so you lose power steering when you get a loaded bucket.

I have no issues with my power steering when operating loader at max capacity.

It is very frustrating for everyone involved trying to order parts with all the different numbers, but I would rather have several model number tractors than one model that lasted for 10 years and had 5 serial number breaks in it. IMO
