I壇 go with the MX5200 because of the turbo ;). Get 3 rear remotes one with float detent. Get the 3rd function on the loader. Top N tilt cylinders for the 3pt. Get a nice heavy duty Gearmore box blade, with hydraulic rippers. A hydraulic auger would be nice to have for your fencing chores.
I do like turbos :)

It's my hope that I have time (before I kick it) to turbocharge this baby:

What is the 3rd function on the loader? Is that the feature that automatically keeps it level?

That tractor won稚 pop walnut stumps and I wouldn稚 bother grading with it unless you?*e experienced with a box blade with a hydraulic top link and that would only be finish grading... very light stuff. My 2 cents as owning an excavating business
Understood. Thanks. Major grading will be done by a mix of professionals and amateurs (us) with rented equipment.

The third function on a Loader is used in conjunction with a grapple. That hydraulic port opens and closes the grapple maw.

You maintain the Loader level or at whatever angle is desired with the joystick. Third function control is often a button or rocker switch added to the joystick.

Levers for rear remotes, one lever for each pair of rear remotes, usually occupy empty factory provided slots on the tractor control console.

I would go with the MX - you can widen the wheels for stability and it is the larger class tractor. I owned an L and now and MX and do a lot of similar chores and love the MX.
As for stumps - rent a mini ex for the weekend and knock it out - lot easier and faster. Trying to pull them with a tractor is tough and a lot of work. Dig them out with the mini then use the tractor to move them to where you want to dump or bury them.
What he said!
