How many HP is it?

Thanks for the pics. Does look a lot like my L39.
M59 Price I got from my dealer is below:
I know there has been a lot of talk about how much these will cost and I can't argue that it is serious money. Also I can see where the idea that a "real" Backhoe might be a better buy. My thought is I want the 3-point hitch capablity and Kubota will let me pay over 42 months at zero down and zero percent. Not sure you would find that no cost financing elsewhere and certainly not on a used machine.

M59 tlb
hd round back bucket quick coupler front and back
hyd thumb
hood guard
3rd function remote to front
front and rear work lights
3 point hitch kit

list with $1100.00 freight in is $ 58116
I would assume we would sell that for around 55000. I have yet to see all the pricing but thats my best estimate at this time.

I figured it with quick attach 84 " hd round back front bucket and 24 " backhoe bucket with quick coupler

I rounded up some data on the M59 and made a PDF file. Enjoy
Also If anyone knows the cost of one of these mighty machines please let us know? Thanks
Sam,

I answered the cost question a couple of replies back.

Looking at the pictures one thing I notice which is a plus from my L-39 is that they have the differential lock on the left side. I was trying to use mine (on the right) to get out of a snow bank yesterday and it makes for a complicated foot arrangement.

What is the hand lever on the floor to the left (as you face forward) of the seat?

Nice photo's and nicely laid out tractor. I like the dash layout, the hydraulic line routing, tie downs, stabilizer guards, Boom Lock, the well protected underside and ground clearance.

It would be a nice tractor especially with all my L39 mods, but it is soooo much money.

Not only is the M59 too much money, Kubota sure does know how to use steel efectively. Too effectively IMHO.

Some other manfacturer will produce a similar dimensioned 65 hp TLB that is 11-12K lbs and way out-spec the M59 AND BE A LOT MORE RUGGED TRUE SMALL CONSTRUCTION MACHINE for the same price. I bet it will have a cab option also.
The 8000 lb M59 is just too light for its size.

Why don't you & I buy the rights to produce the old IR 300 or 500 or whatever it was called.:D We could freshen it up and I bet we could sell 4 or 5 of them right here on TBN! :D

Despite some negitive impressions here (some justified), we've been finding alot of interest localy for the M59. We've had a few sold before they even arrived. The first ones have come in, but not gone out yet and are generating alot of attention. So far its been applications that need the capacity, but don't want the weight. Thats really going to the niche for this machine.

i haven't run an m59 yet but it seems like it would be too light for the power. i would think the hoe would drag the machine all over or at least negate the extra power over a l48. then if the fix would be to load the tires i would have to wonder what weight the drive system was built for. add extra weight to the tires and you will get extra wear. how much would have to be answered by someone else. also curious about the loader balance. i am at 48hp and 1 ton heavier and have had to boom out the hoe for some lifts to keep the rearend down. 59hp on a lighter machine may have the same effect. i hope its a good one but we will see. kind of worried its alligator HP may overload its flea weight.

Would love to hear what negative impressions you feel are justified.
