Kubota's wet pack travelling clutch arrangement is basically bulletproof and lock up pressure is externally adjustable as well. One of mine had 6000 farming hours on it and it's just as tight as when it was new. In my opinion, it's one of the best power transmissions out there. All the efficiency advantages of a gear drive transmission with the convenience of a wet, non wearing clutch. Other than a CVT, it the second best option for farm and loader work.
I don't mind the lock up lag at all. That lag eliminates drive line shock. No clutch in the bellhousing either, just a damper plate.
