Welcome to TBN and the forum. I'm very sorry but I'm not familiar with your terminology - "a rollier ripple". I DO have an M6040.

I'm guessing he means a rolling/hunting idle speed,going up and down several hundred RPM when old.

Levels out as it warms up?
