kubota premium udt and sudt are they the same?

I was in Canada and noticed kubota premium udt,I asked the sales clerk if it was syn. , I don't think he really knew if it was or not but said no. I didn't notice anything on the pail to indicate either way but I didn't have much time to look either.

Super UDT is called Premium UDT in Canada - exact same thing. Regular UDT is not available up here.

Thanks for the info on the oil as the New Brunswick dealer is where I buy all my filters etc. as they are only a few miles from where I live and very nice to deal with.

Awhile back a lady posted here who sold Kubotas at her family owned Kubota dealership. She went to a Kubota dealership meeting and emailed me the data on Kubota UDT and Super UDT. Without a doubt, the cold weather abilities of the Super UDT exceeded those of not only Kubota UDT but Amsoils 30 weight hydraulic fluid. The Amsoil was all synthetic. It would seem that the Super UDT would probably be as well. I don't use Super UDT but rather Chevron all weather full synthetic. If anything I can say about it that is different about it is the orange color. It is easier to see on the dipstick.

That was years ago. Since then, my computer hard drive took a dump resulting in a substantial loss of insignificant data (every item on its 6 gigabyte surface) Sorry, I no longer have it.

I want a goat, and to keep it on topic, I put oil on my chicken before roasting it, but I dont put SUDT or PUDT on it though /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

I understand Premium UDT is actually Duratran a fully synthetic oil made by Petro Canada. Better than Super UDT in cold weather.

Thanks to everyone for your reply's and thanks Steve for that info about Duratan.It gets very cold where I live so I am going for the premium udt as it isn't all that much more expensive .
