Kubota with 60" front blade

I just got the BX back from the dealer. They installed my new 60" front blade. I think it's HD.

Thought you all would like to see...

Nice setup. Hope you have the weight in your tractor that can push all the snow that new blade can handle.

Nice. The front blade for my BX2670 just came in. Going to get it today. Almost bought the 80-Series for my tractor, but didn't like how far they pushed it it this model. The "V" looks cool though.

I like how compact the turning pivot and cylinder is but the entire mechanism seems a bit long. For a smaller tractor, having a setup tight to the front sure helps.

Nice blade for a small tractor, I see that the pins are in so that the trip doesn't work.
If it's for snow what are you doing for traction aids?

Blades should never be locked unless pushing dirt slowly. Usually then, you have better traction and aren't moving fast enough to damage the tractor, frame, or plow. Pushing snow, you usually need more momentum to offset the loss of traction from the slippery surface. Leaving them locked can cause some real damage.
