Any longer term updates to this modification?? Specifically, the neutral or back pressure question/measurement. Still happy with the mod after more use??

An interested owner.

thanks

Bump.

This looks like a reasonable fix that would add my tractor's usefulness if the consensus was it wouldn't cause other damage down the road.

Anyone around with more information on the flow control valve modification??

Thanks

Unfortunatally, I think jeff is the only one who did it.

And it appears he hasnt logged on for over a month now???

Try sending him a PM, he might have e-mail notification for that.

Anybody else give this fix a whirl? I PM'd jeff, but haven't got a response on from him. I have a L3800 I'd like to try this on, but i was just curious if there have been any negative feedback on it.

I'm sorely tempted to just go ahead and do it.
Would be nice to have a parts list so I don't have to reinvent the wheel....

Just figured I'd add here, my L3800 is not jerky enough to worry about.

If you have the L3800, then you should still be under warranty. Take it back to the dealer and have them fix the problem. That's what I did with my L3200 and it's smooth as butter..

Just got an L3200HST and it is not jerky at all. Not sure if there was a modification done by the dealer (Barlow's - absolutely great to deal with) or it came this way but there is no jerk in it what so ever.

That would be good to see, could you post a video of it going up *really* slowly?

I'd like to see that video, too.
I have an L3200hst, and with the landpride RCR1860 cutter attached it's very jerky when lifting slowly.
From all the attempts to fix or adjust posted on this site, I have come to the conclusion it is a design problem that Kubota can't fix.
Adjusting the 3pt valve to smooth causes other issues when using the loader.
I think Jeff's flow control valve is the only "fix" that might actually work.
