L2800 lift shudders

Spoke to the owner of my Kubota dealership today. They are ordering the valve for my L3400. When the valve arrives, they will pick up the tractor, replace the valve and return it. All at no charge to me. My dealer AND Kubota have stepped up to the plate on this one, IMHO. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Good news! My dealer called today and said to bring the tractor in Monday the 18th for the valve replacement. My dealer has stepped up to the plate and fixing my L2800 no charge! It will be so nice to have a smooth 3ph operation. Thanks fellows for all the info.

Got my tractor back todaay after the valve installation. I did not have time to put anything on the 3 pt. but just going up it seems much smoother. I can't wait to try it. I now hope Kubota puts these on before delivery so others do not have to go through the aggravation. Another question for you L2800/L3400 owners. Are you guy's using loaded tires, ballast box or both? With just my auger and a 9'' bit it is pretty light in the back when using the bucket. Thanks, Brian

I just had the 3010 valve installed on my L2800 also and I think the improvement is 50%. Is is not smooth like a Grand L series tractor but I did not buy a Grand L series either.
I like loaded rears for the lower center of gravity and feel it is very stable.

Just got home with mine also. Haven't hooked up any implements yet but the shop said it works smooth. 50% would be a lot better than what i had. Thanks Paris Kubota dealer.

Thanks for the info on the lift. I stumbled onto this forum just before closing on a deal for a L2800. I printed and faxed some of the forum coments to my salesman, he then tried it out to find the problem real. He contacted Kubota, the valve will be replaced before delivery. My dealer is Stevenson Tractor in Chesapeake, VA so far very good to deal with.

Wow, at first I was willing to deal with the shudder on my L3400. After all these posts, I decided to jump on the wagon. My new valve was ordered yesterday. They will call to schedule the service when it comes in.
I deal with Parcs in Salem, WV. GREAT service department!!

Any further news on this issue? Has Kubota released any official information to the dealers yet regarding the valve replacement?

I just purchased an L2800 HST this weekend, delivery scheduled for this week or next. I just now faxed this thread to the dealer to ask them to replace the valve.

We'll see what they say after they read it.
