Finally got the time to do the service, and to update this post. I picked up a 15 gallon tub from the animal feed section at TSC to catch all the fluids-that worked well. Make sure you have a 24mm wrench handy for some of the drain plugs, I believe the others are 19mm. The only thing I had difficulty with besides the location of the fill tubes for the fluids(need a flexible tube funnel), was pulling out the strainer. I had to remove the spring for the HST pedal in order to get the strainer out. And had to use an adjustable wrench on the strainer, because it was even bigger than the 24mm wrench I had. It would be nice if Kubota had a list of tools required to do the maintenance so you could get them ready before you start.

Great post and thanks for coming back for an update. Any chance that you still have the filter numbers that you got. Did I read that you used kubota oil? Do you remember what everything came to $?

I deal with much smaller quantities of fluids when I service my B6100 but I have to ask: How did you get rid of a 15 gallon tub full of tractor fluids?

Orb, the dealer gave me all the fluids and filters for the 50 hour when I bought the machine, so I don't know the cost. The trash man just hauled away the old filters so I can't get the numbers off them. I will be up at the property this weekend so I'll climb under the tractor and see if I can get the numbers off them. I'll get back with you.

Bill, I poured the fluid from the tub into a 5 gallon oil change tub which has a spigot for pouring (also from TSC) and then refilled the jugs that the new fluid came from. My dealer uses this fluid to heat his shop, so he recycles for me.

When I bought all of the fluids and filters for my 50 hours service last year it cost about $285 at the dealer.

Those hydraulic filters are expensive.
