Buying Advice L3560HSTC suggestions for recommended options

I have all of 10 hours on new cabbed tractor with a few more to come tomorrow. It is amazing to be able to spend half a day working at the property and feel great when I知 done. It has turned August work into a pleasant experience.
I agree with this and the others.
Love mine

Just wanted to make an update to this thread. The closest dealer to me, which I have been working with called this morning and said they cannot get the L3560HSTC-LE for me. So, been waiting 5 weeks and am now told this. They did tell me that they found one at another dealer which is a little over 100 miles away that has everything I wanted but they cannot get it from them. Gave me the dealers name and suggested I talk to them. The thing is, if I'm going to buy from a dealer 100 miles away, it opens up several other brands as options. I have looked at Kubota and John Deere as the dealers are local and seemed to want to sell me a unit. The MF dealer was ok but the MF just did not fit me very well.

My concern is if I buy from an out of town dealer and need any warranty work, or anything else for that matter, that I will end up at the back of the line. There are things I like better about the JD and other things I like better about the Kubota. For reference the JD I am looking at is the 4044R which is more HP and more $$$. I really do not think I need the extra HP but did not care for the 3 series deere.

Should I look at Kioti or some other brands?

Any thoughts?

Any dealer should perform warranty work for their brand, regardless of where you bought it. Some will deprioritize you a bit, which is kind of wrong.

But in this case I see a dealer who is unable to serve you in a timely manner. Rather than string you along, they are pointing you to a competing dealer. Basically I see that as trying to keep you in the Kubota ecosystem rather than defecting. I'd see that as a good indication they want your business long term, including warranty work even if they arent capable of meeting your needs short term.

The other answer is you'd be stupid not to look around. Buy what fits you & your needs best after validating things yourself. What works for you may not be what works for me. When is sold my L3200 to get a cabbed machine I looked Orange, Green & the Koreans. The Korean tractors weren't as polished as Kubota or JD, but they looked to be very good value & solid machines. I ended up not considering them because of the dealer. Mom & pop shop that didnt seem to have the greatest support. They were a couple hours away & the only TYM/LS/Kioti dealer in Colorado. I'd have considered them if there had been a better Korean dealer and/or one closer.

That an only Kubota has HST+. Most all of the stall guard, auto throttle & other electronic functions might be mimics that are rarely used, but that 2 speed HST+ is the most useful feature ever. EVERY HST tranny (orange, green, Koreans, premium, economy, whatever) I've seen sucks to shift. HST+ means you rarely have shift that clunky shifting tranny

What Fallon said, any good dealer is going to be looking to the future for shop work, parts and a new machine or two down the road. My dealer has been in the business since the fifties and it makes no difference where you got your tractor they are more than happy to see you.

I always look around before buying; really had in mind to get a John Deere 4 Series, but it just wasn't for me. Did buy a John Deere 1025R for another farm though.

Thanks guys. I have looked around some, guess I'm just a little frustrated. I called the dealer that supposedly had what I was looking for but the loaders were the LA555 on all the units he had. One requirement is the LA805 for me. So, he doesn't have it either. Found out my dealer got one in for me but it came with the wrong loade, the loader is the issue, they cannot find an 805. Talked to my salesman again and told him to keep me on the list and get one when he could. The biggest things for me on the Kubota is the HST+. Really like the power button on the loader control and the high/low. When I was a kid we had a MF 165. It had a high/low range that worked a lot like the one on the Kubota. You could hand shift it and if I remember right it would shift itself under load. It was great when you were working and needed that little bit of extra for a tough spot.

Also, of the units I have sat in and test drove, JD, MF, Kubota, I like the Kubota cab much better, it just fit me. I could live with a JD or an MF, but not really what I want. So the saga continues and I will keep waiting, decided it will get here when it gets here. Now if my wife doesn't kill me due to talking about the tractor all the time I'll be ok.

Well, finally found one and got it bought. As mentioned my dealer told me to see what I could find and they would be glad to work with me on service, warranty, etc. Called around and found some units. Closest one was about 1 1/2 hours away but their price was almost $6,000 more  Found a couple that were in the same price range as my dealer had quoted, one was 4 hours away and the other 8 hours. Went with the 4 hours.

Ended up getting the 805 loader, a quick hitch, third function and one remote. The dealer also threw in a radio and full tank of fuel. It was supposed to be ready last Friday but all the rain in the Houston area prevented the 3rd function and remote from getting to the dealer. He called Monday and said they came in and the tractor would be ready for pickup Tuesday. Woohoo!

I left at 4:00 yesterday morning hoping to beat the traffic in Houston. I really hate going to or through Houston (or any big city.) Well, the rain had caused issues with one of the I10 bridges and the traffic was really bad due to a couple of accidents on the detour. 4 hours turned into 6. Trip home I came through Houston during rush hour. Oh well, at least I had the tractor following me. Got home about 6:30 last night after a couple of stops.

Have not had much of a chance to try it out yet but think I will be really happy with it. Will post some updates as I personalize it for my use.

Oh, I also went in and purchased a grapple from the local dealer last Thursday. Kind of figured that would help keep things in order.

Thanks to everyone for the advice and look forward to getting some stuff done!
