Price Check L4610 should I pull the trigger???

It's an awesome tractor that will do everything you need. I used mine hard for years pulling trees out of the woods for firewood, grading my road, snow removal, etc and was never disappointed.

At least not until my wife convinced me to downsize to a B3030 because she was intimidated by the bigger tractor. Worst move I ever made!

Note to others, think twice before downsizing. It might make sense for you, but you lose more than just power.

The 4610 was the best of the 10 series, it had the full hydraulic steering and the 852 loader while still having the planetary rear end. It does not have the higher 3 ph capacity that came on the 30 series but is still good for most anything you would need to lift!

Well I did it! :D

It turns out the tractor is in excellent condition with 525 hours on it, has always been stored in a garage and never used for any 'hard' work that it was designed for.
The forks that it came with were bent up pretty bad from handling/moving logs and the owner brought them to a shop for me to have rewelded and bent back. He also had a crack in the front light (the light still works) but didn't want to sell that way so he bought a brand new light assembly and included it with the tractor. The rake looks to be in good shape and I have another scraper so probably won't use the scraper attachment that goes on the rake.

I think I should be able to make up some wheels for the gauge wheels unless I can find a place that sells what I need for a decent price.

I'm very happy with the purchase and now need to start adding some hydraulics to it. First step will be a 3rd function valve for a grapple, then some rear hydraulics after that.

Thanks to everyone for your helpful information.

Ya did good! That's pretty much a twin to the one I have, and it looks to be in super good condition. Have fun... er, I mean, work hard now. :D

I believe if you need to have a skidsteer q/a, you can convert that loader to it.

I did look at the skidsteer quick attach but it just seems pretty pricey. Right now I have the kubota pin type quick attach which seems to work well with the bucket and forks. I want to get a grapple and can't decide if I should just pay the extra couple hundred bucks to have them put the pin type qa on it or if I should switch to skidsteer qa. If I were to switch I'd be looking at over a thousand dollars just for the adapter plate and two new plates to put on the bucket and forks. I'd prefer skidsteer but I just don't know if I could justify the price.

Congratulations!! That is one nice looking machine.

Now you can think about doing things. The shopping is finally over.
So, you gonna go through it? New filters, fluids and such? Kinda half rational, half irrational, but somehow, it is always part of my adoption process when I buy used cars, trucks, mowers and such. I don't know why, but I helps "make it mine". Anybody else like that?
