L5030HSTC & backhoe

I've done some searching in the forum and found that Bradco is the only one that makes a backhoe to mount on a L30 series cab tractor WITH a subframe. Woods was in the process of making one.

Can someone shed some more light on this? Model #'s, pictures?

Derek, my local Kubota /JD dealer mounts Woods on his L30 Kubotas and they all have subframes. I think its the Woods 9000. I'll check on it if you want. Is the cab the criteria that differentiates this? Does the Kubota hoe not work with the cab. While it is more costly, it also has some good specs and is actually quite well built contrary to CW Stevensons problems many months ago. Mark

I don't think to many companies will build a hoe for those tractors. The probably the main reason Kubota doesn't is it might know better. I wouldn't want to have to keep getting on and off, walking around to get back in the cab everytime I changed digging areas. I also feel that it is moving the hoe so far back from the tractor that it would have a potential frame problem in the making. Kubota puts it's hoes tight to the tractor. So tight that the aftermarkets can't compete with there systems for digging power. We do have aftermarket hoes available but with those subframes that go under the tractor they also add restrictions to the use.

We have a particular Kubota dealer that all he will install is Bradco on the L30 series. In fact he told me they are very tight to the cab rear window. Other than that, he claims they work great. Now, I have a Bradco 511 myself, and swear by it. I have tried the new Woods 9000 and there is no comparison.. Bradco is built extremely heavy and operates the same. I would PM Junkman, one of your fellow Kubota owners and ask him about my Bradco. He's seen it operate on his property and I am sure he can answer any more questions you may have.

Bradco makes a 4 point mounting kit for the Kubota B7500, B2710, B2910 (I imagine the B7800 would fit in there also) and the Grand L's. For the Grand L's you must use the LA723 or LA853 loaders. The backhoe half of the mount is #17990. On the L3130/L3430 the tractor half of the mount kit is #18400 and for the L3830/L4330.L4630 (I believe the L5030 would fit in there also) the tractor half of the mount kit is #17980. You would need to add a hydraulic hose kit to make the complete kit. The hoe is close to the cab window but they will fit. Hope this helps.
