Hi,
New to TBN so hope this is the right place.
Last year I bought some property that came with some equipment, in particular a Kubota L2900 with LA482 bucket loader. To make a long story short, before I could even move onto the property, cowardly thieves stole the tractor from an open shed.
About a month later the tractor was discovered not far away, minus a few things, primarily the loader. Got some insurance money and moved on.
Now I'm investigating replacing it. According to my local equipment guy Kubota no longer makes the LA482. He says he found a compatible loader from Bush Hog - a 2297. But that uses a skid steer attachment that is not compatible with Kubota L2077A forks that the thieves managed not to abscond with. Might as well have as the Kubota forks are now useless.
So I'm wondering if the forum has any alternative suggestions. Yes, I've been looking for used LA482s but haven't found any not already attached to a tractor.
